How to adjust the steel brush when cutting different material with different hardness?

When cutting stainless steel or softer materials, the saw teeth ofter chip and break. Do you frequently encounter this problem with your cold saw but don't know how to solve it?

When cutting regular carbon steel, adjust the steel brush to 1/5 of the saw teeth. When cutting softer materials, adjust it to 1/3 position. When cutting stainless steel, adjust it to 1/2 position.
